Norton Security Offers Protection To SMEs Via EE Business Apps

Security firm Norton by Symantec has announced the availability of a Norton security solutions via Business Apps from mobile provider EE.

Business Apps from EE is a selection of apps handpicked to help small businesses do more and save time.

The addition of Norton 360 Business Premium to this selection for £5 a month allows SMEs to protect their devices against cyber threats by securing smartphones, tablets and computers.

The product is able to protect multiple devices with a single, easy to use solution using comprehensive patented technologies working as layered protection to outsmart online threats.

It is able to alert users to phishing sites and dubious social media content, scams and links. Devices can also be instantly located if they are stolen or misplaced.

Norton claims that the addition of 360 Business Premium to EE Business Apps means EE business customers are offered a strong and simple Internet security and data protection product for their mobile devices.

“We’ve developed Business Apps to provide our customers with a handpicked selection of the best apps available for small businesses, ranging from accounting software to productivity tools,” claimed head of small business marketing at EE Maria Armishaw.

SMEs Place Strong Value On Protection

Recent research conducted by Norton indicated that 74% of small businesses believe that a day’s worth of downtime will negatively impact their reputation and that the use of security technology that helps protect from external threats was important to 81% of SMEs.

“Small businesses are the backbone to the UK economy so it’s great news that they are confident about future growth,” claimed UK&I Norton business manager at Symantec Simon Beech.

“If they are to achieve their business goals, they must understand how vulnerable they are to external threats that could impact their business in major ways.
